The drawings on which this animated film is based are exceptionally complex for the genre and based on reportage photographs. The video deliberately avoids making a definitive statement in relation to the images shown. The film does not develop a narrative plot: metamorphosing drawings break down into lineaments from a depicted object outwards before reforming as new visual content. The transformation of the images into drawings then becomes a stocktaking exercise that blurs identities and pushes these visuals into a disturbing mediated distance that is hard to grasp.
